We, as individuals and an organization are dedicated to enhance community safety
and reduce fear from crime within the community. We are dedicated to and will
strive for excellence of service through cooperation with the community. We will
work to enhance the quality of life in a professional and caring manner.
Strategic Approach and Planning
The Port Clinton Police Department is committed to delivering services which are of value to and
meet the expectations of our internal; and external customers. To achieve this commitment we
shall:
Maintain open communication with our customers to identify their needs, values, expectations, and priorities.
Allocate resources to provide for meeting the needs of our clients and the efficient operation of the police department.
Maintain strong positive relationships with other agencies, community organizations, and individuals to implement and improve services and approaches to areas of common concern.
Train and develop our staff in skills needed to provide for the needs of the community and service delivery.
